Know how to carry out of decompression dives at the maximum depth of 65 m / 215 ft, with the use of gas mixtures (containing helium) – TRIMIX.
TEC 1 maximum depth of 45m TEC 2 maximum depth of 65m
Purpose of Normoxic Trimix Diver Course
The objective of this course is to train the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for utilizing custom oxygen/helium/nitrogen mixtures as breathing gases. Gas mixes are not to have any less than 18 % (percent oxygen O2).
Course description
The Normoxic Trimix course provides the training required to competently and safely utilize breathing gases containing helium for dives that require staged decompression, utilizing nitrox or oxygen mixtures during decompression to a maximum depth of 65 m / 215 ft. This course is intended for gaining of knowledge and skills on planning and carrying out of decompression dives at the maximum depth of 65 m / 215 ft, with the use of gas mixtures (containing helium) – TRIMIX. During the course, the participants will familiarize themselves with practical principles of decompression dives at the depth of up to 65 m / 215 ft, with Trimix gas mixtures, will learn to plan and carry out multistage decompression stops with the use of several decompression gases.
