What will you learn?
The dry suit is used for dives in cold water reservoirs. This specialty is developed for training of skills and knowledge on application of the dry suit, use of accessories, correct storage, and the basic repair methods. During the course, participants will consider types of dry suits, features of their use, storage, and maintenance. Training in closed water and two dives in open water help to train control and maintenance of buoyancy, performance of proper procedures in case of emergencies with the use of the dry suit.
Two dives are required with complete briefs and debriefs by the instructor. Dive plan must include surface interval, maximum no-decompression time, etc. to be figured out and logged
Essential prerequisites for participants
- Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certificate;
- Minimal age - 18 (eighteen) years. Age from 15 (fifteen) years - with written permission of parents.
