The benefit of bouoncy control for underwater flora and fauna can scarcely be overestimated. Moreover, this skill is essential for underwater photographers and cameramen. Realizing of benefits from ability to control own buoyancy by the diver is very important and enhances the pleasure from dives. This specialty is designed to increase the open water diver’s understanding of the factors that influence his buoyancy, and to train the diver in using those means available to him as methods for controlling his buoyancy. The added benefits to the marine, and freshwater environments, cannot be overstated; as well as a diver that has better control of himself in conjunction with his environment.
The course includes familiarization with importance of buoyancy factors for the diver and the environment. The course proposes two dives for exercising of buoyancy control skills, correct distribution of the load, use of various breathing models and techniques.
Essential prerequisites for participants
- Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certificate
- Minimal age - 18 (eighteen) years. Age from 10 (ten) years - with written permission of parents.
